Hi there, thanks for checking in! I thought I’d better pop in and give you an update on things.

Sorry it’s all about London and moving at the moment. I’m going to schedule in some posts while we’re moving so it won’t be so quiet around here.

I’ve spent the last few days tying up loose ends – finishing web design projects, meeting writing deadlines, dentist visits, finalising tax, selling furniture, organising moving and the start of my goodbyes.

The most significant to me was finishing the redesign of my personal domain – taking it from an embarrassingly neglected blog to a business card type hub of all my things.

It was the final step in designing my business after taking into consideration what I’ve learned from my experiments over the past two years. It’s exciting to have a proper business plan – including a marketing and sales strategy – that has proven itself to work already in these early days. Hang on – if I’m 2 years in can I still call it ‘early days’? Moving on…

Our apartment has been rented by someone who also wanted to buy our furniture so that’s been a big plus, our car is being left to the 2nd hand gods/men to deal with and after I hit publish on this post I’ll be researching the cheapest last minute flights for an ETA in London of Saturday 28th, May.

24+ hour travel time here we come!
