I love the internet. Always have, always will, but every few years I start to miss working with something tangible.
That’s one of the reasons I first left my full time job in the internet industry and went to work for the family business. You don’t get more real than dealing in chickens.
After a year though I was missing it and started experimenting with digital products – creating ebooks and online workshops with a passion.
It’s been a few years now and I’m ready for another change. I’m still proud of what I spent months creating and they’re still selling consistently with great feedback but after a bit of soul searching and examining my assets I’ve decided I’m going back to dealing in tangible things.
I’m taking what I’ve published online and putting it on paper and from there who knows! What I do know is that I’m feeling excited and inspired. I love the idea of sending out parcels to people all over the world – who doesn’t love receiving a pretty package!
These images from A Creative Mint got me thinking about kraft paper, fluro highlights and black and white ink. I could stare at them all day.

I love the kraft packaging trend too Claire! All the packaging pictures online are so pretty and I know how you feel about the joy of sending and receiving pretty packaging… Your soul searching/tangible goods comment has me very curious and if you’re heading down the path of selling something in the form of packaging online, you have your first customer right here: me!
