Do you read business books?
I didn’t read that many last year and I want to change that so I thought I’d do a round up of business books that are on my list to read this year.
- Brand Thinking and Other Noble Pursuits by Debbie Millman
- Zag: The Number One Strategy of High-performance Brands by Marty Neumeier
- Wally Olins: The Brand Handbook by Wally Olins
- Rework by Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson (My favourite business book. Will be reading it again in the new year. Love it!!)
- Delivering Happiness by Tony Hsieh
- The Handmade Marketplace by Kari Chapin
This one called Built to Sell by John Warrillow looks interesting too.
What books should I add to the list? Would love to hear your recommendations in the comments!

This is a good round up of books Clare.
Be great if you could add “Hot Tips For Career Chicks’ by, umm, me….
The tips are practical whether you work for a company or have your own business and are working with staff, clients and suppliers!

Perfect timing Clare! I’m in need of some new business book reading material!
A few I read last year and would recommend:
The 4 Hour Work Week by Timothy Ferriss
Craving Success by Melody Biringer

I agree with Karen Adamedes’s comment above. Karen’s book is excellent!
I hope you enjoy “Delivering Happiness” by Tony Hsieh. I read it this time last year and I remember sitting down to start the book … I was so riveted that I literally could not put it down. I didn’t stand up again until I finished it! It was fascinating to learn about the way he built his business.
I also recently enjoyed reading “The 48 Laws of Power” by Robert Greene. It’s a different type of business book but very interesting.
