One of the top priorities on my to-do list is to improve the product photographs for my online shop.
I’d been thinking I should try to set up a DIY lightbox but wasn’t sure how to go about it.
I was browsing through Jessica Biscoe’s blog today and saw her post about setting up a lightbox so I thought I’d share it for anyone in the same boat. She also shares some tips on which camera settings to use to get best results.
I found this video demonstration of setting up a lightbox from Andrea of Studio6or7 really helpful too.
Did you take your own product photographs for your online shop? Or did you get a professional to take them for you?

Hi Claire,
Thanks for this great info ! I was just in the middle of trying to take product photos for my site and the results were not that great.
So I whipped up a light box on the weekend, following these instructions, and the photos are so much better !!!
Thanks again,
Jane
