I've started to work through the book but am also finding myself using it as a reference. Darren's blog - Problogger - is the number one resource about blogging.
This is a practical workbook that focuses on content, not technical ability.
My best advice is to read a chapter a day, have a moleskin notebook and scribble away as you get ideas. Once done, work through each of the ideas and your blog will be in a much better state!
I still have at least 50 ideas to implement!
